Update: Summer Homelessness
It turns out I will only be homeless for 3 days. I will probably be getting my computer this weekend.

Summer Plans: A brief stint as a homeless man.
So.... My job. It's been a great experience, and I've grown pretty close to a lot of the girls. It's to be expected that when you are working with troubled junior high aged girls there's going to be no shortage of drama. I didn't realize however that I had stumbled into a situation where administration, therapists, and lowly staff are vying for power and control, creating a somewhat uncomfortable situation. I don't quite recall the terminology, but I know that in economics each person has some type of threshold. Each person has a price at which they are willing to provide a service. Unfortunately the politics, the long commute, the lack of communication, and the strangely juvenile political game of cat and mouse that is being played by administration and therapists, and my boredom, have tipped the scales in favor of my decision to make my fortune elsewhere.
The day that the proverbial $%* hit the fan at work was also coincidentally the day that my uncle expressed interest in hiring me to help with his ATV tour/rental business down in the Kanab/Zions/Bryce/Grand Canyon area for the summer. It sounds like a really cool experience. I would be working with four wheelers in some of the most beautiful country in the world, and I will be living close to family. Anyone who knows me well knows my Kanab obsession. That is where my family is from, and I have loved it since I was a kid. Someday I would love to live there and teach school. So basically this is an opportunity that I can't pass up. Details still need to be worked out, and I am not sure exactly when I start, but it's a safe bet that sometime early next month I will be moving to Kanab.
Problem: I gave my 30 days notice at my apartment. I will be out of there by the end of this month. That will leave a window of possibly several weeks where I will be homeless. I will be camping out probably out at Three Peaks, and continue working in Cedar until my new job is available. I will keep you all posted on how my stint with homelessness. Garit is jealous.
