Death By Science #4: Mercury Poisoning

NASA's Messenger Spacecraft flew by Mercury on Oct. 6th and managed to photograph 90% of the planet. The new photographs reveal that Mercury is much more volcanic than they previously thought.

This NASA website explains it more in depth. This is very interesting to astronomers and Garit.

I think if Garit were to allow his science jector to be taken up into space to take high resolution pictures of Mercury, it would reveal that someone has already been there and erected a flag made of the remains of a snap button cowboy shirt.
