Man, I love this album. It is Mars Volta's first album, and in my opinion, their best. Give it a listen, but most of you won't like it. Cedric Bixler's lyrics are really impressionistic, and hard to decipher, and if you manage it then you'll probably be creeped out by the story he's telling. There's a lot of complex songs in there, and not a lot of radio-friendly material, but several moments in the album are jaw-dropping.
