I learned today that the Volkswagen Beetle, possibly the flagship of the hippy movement was designed by none other than Hitler. History is awesome. Not ironic in and of itself, just a strange coincidence. But if any of you want to hear about the true irony of Hitler and Nazism, I would love to discuss it. Peukert's thesis referred to it as the brown shirt revolution.
